Research interests:
My research interests focus on individual behaviour especially in response to public policies directed towards individuals' welfare. This includes research on labour supply and criminal activity as well as social insurance (particularly unemployment insurance). I am also interested in microeconometrics as well as the collection and analysis of survey data.
Present research projects:
At the present I am (together with Torben Tranæs) looking into how the threat of compulsory programme participation in the UI system affects individuals' propensity to commit crime. We are also looking at the possible effect of (involuntary) unemployment on criminal activity.
