An interesting job – but not necessarily useful to society

This research project concerns an analysis of work related values among Danes during the period 1981-2008. The article will focus on stability and change. It shall analyse values such as the importance of having an interesting job, of having a job useful to society as well as values such as autonomy, work communities, salary and flexibility. The analyses in the article will be based on quantitative data from the European values survey. The purpose is the publication of an article in a Danish edited volume concerning values among Danes during this period.
